RACE DATE 09.17.22

Nock The Rock was founded by Wade Clark in 2011.  Wade began running to help cope with the tragic loss of his brother and friends in a local catastrophic avalanche.   Wade was the only survivor.  

You will find the rock at the race start, with the inscription in Gaelic, translated to  "Stone of Help".  This is where Wade started and ended each run during his time of healing. 

The first Nock the Rock consisted of Wade sprinting to be the first across the finish-line, even though he was the only human running the race.  Some goats joined him along the course and nearly beat him!

Nock the Rock is an incredibly scenic 13.1 mile run in the beautiful foothills surrounding Soda Springs, Idaho.  The course will test your endurance and stamina with a variety of terrain. 

With a start and finish on the beautifully developed park owned by the Clarks, you can camp the night before under the stars, join us for pre-race dinner,  and start your race just steps away from your bed!  

We have recently added a 5k which will start after the Half Marathon.  The kids mile run will begin 30 minutes before the Half Marathon. 

Join us Friday night for pasta dinner and friends!  

Camp out at the venue and enjoy a night under the stars before the race!
